Through-beam sensors

The system consists of two separate components: a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter emits a fine laser beam which is received by the receiver. The interruption of the laser beam is evaluated. The small beam diameter allows detection of tiny objects and their exact positioning.
Retro-reflective sensors

For a retro-reflective laser sensor the transmitter and receiver are incorporated into one housing. The transmitter emits a fine laser beam which is reflected to the receiver by a prismatic reflector specially designed for laser sensors. The interruption of the laser beam is evaluated. The small beam diameter allows detection of tiny objects and their exact positioning.
Diffuse reflection sensors

The diffuse reflection laser sensor is used for the direct detection of objects. The transmitter and receiver of the laser are integrated into one housing. The transmitter emits a fine laser beam that is reflected by an object to be detected. The small beam diameter allows detection of tiny objects and their exact positioning.
