Application areas
The ATEX submersible pressure transmitters of the PS3 series are designed for level measurement in areas subject to explosion hazard like tanks, containers, wells, streaming water, drill holes or wastewater plants. The sensors can be used in zone 0, 1, 2 or zone 20, 21, 22 as well as in mining. The GL approval allows an application in the maritime sector.
Advantages
The analogue output signal and the use of the two-wire technology allow easy integration in the applications. Voltage is supplied to the transmitter via an intrinsically safe line transformer or a zener diode barrier.
