The sensing face of a full-metal sensor resists mechanical stress such as impacts much better than a sensor with a plastic sensing face. Non-coated stainless steel housing or innovative non-stick coating contribute to the correct function of the full-metal sensors. An innovative, consistent sealing concept from the sensor to the connector ensures ideal protection against ingress of moisture. A series of tests qualified the sensors for tough applications:
