efector valvis signals up to three important valve positions to the controller: valve open, valve closed and a user-defined position in-between, e.g. for seat lift. Programming of the respective positions is conveniently carried out by means of the pushbuttons on the unit. If the ”seat” position is not programmed, efector valvis automatically monitors the wear of the valve seal. If the valve spindle moves 0.7 mm below the programmed ”closed” position, the ”seat” output is set and a maintenance request can be transmitted to the controller.
In the analogue transmitter version the valve stroke is continuously transmitted to the controller. There, all relevant positions can be stored in a table of values. In addition to OPEN and CLOSED, any number of positions can be detected, indicating further relevant states of the valve depending on the valve type and application. A signal lost due to an intermediate position is a thing of the past.
