Operating principle
efector valvis is an absolute linear sensor operating to the inductive principle. The spindle of the actuator enters into an arrangement of 16 air-core inductors placed one upon the other. The inductors are influenced by the valve spindle, leading to the generation of an analogue measured signal in every inductor, which depends on the insertion depth. By means of multiplex and microprocessor technology, the travel curves of all the inductors are combined to form one single analogue signal.
This linear analogue signal stretches across the total measuring length of 80 mm. The resolution is 2/10 mm and thus meets the requirements of high precision of the feedback, moreover providing the opportunity to detect seal wear.
