Calculation tool repeatability / measuring frequency
This tool is used to assess the measuring quality of the O1Dxxx distance sensor. The core criterion here is the attainable repeatability*. This depends on:
- the degree of reflection of the object to be detected
- the distance between sensor and object to be measured
- the required measuring frequency
* The repeatability describes the variation range of measured values when one object is measured several times in the same position.
Application
- Estimate the degree of reflection of the object to be measured and click on one field of the grey coloured samples.
- Indicate the distance in mm between the object to be measured and the sensor.
- Indicate the required measuring frequency in Hz.
- Press the "Calculate" button.
- As the result the repeatability in mm is indicated.
- You can also calculate the resulting measuring frequency after entering the distance and repeatability.
