AS-i power supplies have a great share in the success of AS-i as a wiring system for sensors and actuators. They are the basis for the very high noise immunity of the system in industrial environments. The quality of the power supplies ensures reliable decoupling of the network from interference in the primary supply. Balancing of the AS-i voltage reduces the effects of electromagnetic influence to a minimum. Using the AS-i power supplies from ifm electronic the AS-i networks can be set-up reliably and economically up to a length of 100 m to 1000 m when taking additional measures.
