Extremely short C-slot cylinders can be mounted from above

A real alternative to the Reed switch

Due to its small size of 15 mm this cylinder switch is especially suited for small grippers. It can be easily inserted from above into the C-slot where it clicks home. For easy positioning of the correct switch point the switch can now be moved in the slot. It is then permanently secured by tightening the screw – that’s it! The switch is locked in the slot, i.e. it is completely surrounded by it thus ensuring mechanical stability. The moulded cable at the end of the switch provides excellent strain relief. Non-contact sensors virtually work without wear andoften achieve a longer life than Reed switches. This saves expensive repair and downtimes.
