Optical sensor for the detection of PET bottles
Requirement
In the past, the detection of the transparent material PET required complicated adjustment of the sensors to the application.
Implementation
This new system consisting of an O5G500 retro-reflective sensor with polarisation filter and a very fine E20722 prismatic reflector is ideally suited for the detection of PET materials and glass.
Customer benefits
Being a "plug & play" system, it can be immediately put into operation. The very high switching frequency of more than 1,500 Hz enables use in applications with very fast processes. This high switching frequency applies to the whole temperature range. The red light used facilitates the alignment during set-up.
