Monitoring entrance doors for hot-air curtain control
Requirement
Because of the frequent use of the access door between the production building and the canteen, the production workers used to be annoyed by the draught. This draught was to be stopped.
Implementation
An inductive sensor is permanently monitoring the door. When the door is opened, the sensor generates a switching signal, which activates a hot-air unit above the door. This prevents inconvenient draught and maintains the room temperature stable.
Customer benefits
Despite the frequent use of the access door, the employees are no longer disturbed and can focus on their work. The quality of the workplace has increased considerably.
