Limit level monitoring in tanks
Requirement
Information about levels in storage and collecting tanks are important for processes in bio-substrate plants. The waste water and the combination of different chemicals required for neutralisation are highly aggressive. The level detection is to be carried out without contact with the medium.
Implementation
The level monitoring through non-metal tank walls can be easily and reliably implemented using capacitive level sensors of the KI5087 series. Quick installation is ensured by means of the ifm mounting set. Adjustment is carried out intuitively via the teach function on the sensor. The electrical connection via a prewired socket (type EVT) enables simple installation.
Customer benefits
Set-up with the capacitive level sensors of ifm electronic is quick, user-friendly and inexpensive. This can rarely be found elsewhere. The flexible switch-point setting facilitates the changing or adding of switch points.
