Using vibration monitoring for predictive and preventive maintenance

Thanks to ifm's technology, a robust monitoring system has been implemented for a feed factory used in shrimp farming, enabling vibration monitoring as well as temperature monitoring of the mills in the factory. This monitoring system ensures early action to prevent breakdowns and improve equipment performance. But the collaboration between Samaria Racoes and ifm is not over yet - several projects are still in progress. These include the implementation of vibration sensors on eight mills and four primary equipment, as well as the full automation of the plant using IO-Link technology. RFID inventory control will also be implemented to ensure continuous and uninterrupted production by providing an automated solution for efficient manufacturing processes.
